What is AD/HD Coaching?
It's All About You Coaching!
We all need a little coaching now and then.
AD/HD Coaching is your journey with a little help.
“The mind is like an iceberg, it floats with one-seventh of its bulk above water.”

     -  Sigmund Freud
"The principle of "what you pay attention to grows" applies to all areas of your life. If you pay attention to a particular skill, that skill will grow. Left unused, that same skill will eventually disappear. "
                   -- David Giwerc

AD/HD coaching is an ongoing partnership that helps clients live more effective and satisfying lives by understanding how ADHD manifests in their lives, deepening their learning, improving their performance, and enhancing their quality of life.

AD/HD coaching helps clients to:

Understand that the source of many of their challenges is AD/HD , not personal shortcomings.

Safely examine areas of failure and areas where they want to be held accountable.

Heighten self-awareness and self-observation skills, and use those heightened skills to improve decision-making and performance.

Change perspective when "stuck", for example, learning new ways to work with procrastination, perfectionism, staying on task, or being more consistent.

Become aware of their own learning styles, processing styles and learning preferences so they can enhance their ability to learn and comprehend information and situations.     Click here to email me for your free introduction to coaching session!

I have trouble concentrating on reading material that is uninteresting or difficult to read.

I sometimes say things without thinking, regretting them later.

I often make decisions quickly without pausing to consider the possible outcome.

I experience mood swings, from highs to lows.

I am more comfortable when I'm moving around than sitting still.

It's hard for me to be patient when participating in group activities.

I often work on several projects at once and have trouble seeing them through to completion?

I have trouble refraining from daydreaming and letting my mind wander?

Do any of these statements sound familiar to you:
I have said these statements before, if you have too, call to see how ADHD coaching can benefit you!
Great books I've read on ADHD or books my children have read:

"To coach" comes from the root meaning "to bring a person from where they are to where they want to be."
